Diamond Wire Technology, LLC produces a unique diamond wire.
Our diamond wire starts with a high tensile core wire.
This wire is specially drawn to Diamond Wire Technology,
LLC specifications. The core wire is heat-treated, pre-stretched,
and has a tensile strength of at least 400,000 psi.
Diamond Wire Technology, LLC adds an electrolytic copper
sheath impregnated with diamonds (20-120 micros in size).
Next, a nickel overstrike is applied to reinforce the diamonds
on the wire.
Maintaining consistent quality requires us to maintain strict adherence
to our diamond impregnating process and constant quality
control measures. Diamonds are impregnated uniformly
around the core wire to ensure our wire cuts straight. As
part of our quality control measures, Diamond Wire Technology,
LLC uses a micro-counter to count the number of diamonds
distributed around the core, making sure every wire is consistent.
The electronic testing measures Diamond Wire Technology,
LLC takes, tests that diamonds are properly situated into
the copper sheath and that the steel core remains intact to prevent
premature breakage.
